SS Marco Polo (1851) – a famous 19th-century clipper ship, one of the fastest in her time, built in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. She made record-breaking voyages between Liverpool and Australia, carrying immigrants and cargo. She was celebrated as “the fastest ship in the world” in the 1850s.
