This is a 1994 Canadian $20 sterling silver coin commemorating the Canadian Vickers Vedette aircraft. 

Features a gold-plated portrait of Canadian aviation hero Wilfred T. Reid and the Canadian Vickers Vedette aircraft. 

Significance: The Canadian Vickers Vedette was the first aircraft manufactured in Canada for commercial operators and played a crucial role in Canadian aviation during the 1920s, particularly for forestry patrol and aerial photography. 

Composition: 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, with a 24-karat gold-covered cameo. 

Availability: These coins are part of the Royal Canadian Mint's Aviation Commemorative Series One. 

This coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt. The inscription "ELIZABETH II D G REGINA" encircles the portrait, which translates to "Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen".
