The image displays a 1992 Canadian $20 sterling silver coin from the Aviation Series I, featuring the de Havilland Gipsy Moth.

It is part of the "Powered Flight in Canada: The First 50 Years" series, which commemorates aviation heroes and their achievements.

Design: The reverse side of the coin features a de Havilland Gipsy Moth aircraft, while the obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as is typical for Canadian coinage of that era.

Composition: The coin is made of .925 sterling silver (92.5% silver, 7.5% copper) and includes a 24-karat gold-plated cameo.

This coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt. The inscription "ELIZABETH II D G REGINA" encircles the portrait, which translates to "Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen".
