This is a 1967 Canada Silver Centennial of Confederation Medal, which was minted by the Royal Canadian Mint
Features the crowned Shield of the Coat of Arms of Canada centered above the word "CANADA".
These silver medals were originally included in the deluxe Centennial Presentation Sets distributed in 1967. While millions of school children across Canada received cheaper brass or pewter versions of a similar medallion, only the official presentation sets housed this specific sterling silver version.
The obverse features the crowned shield of Canada's coat of arms, while the reverse displays a stylized maple leaf.
