Collection of 1976 Montreal Olympic $5 Silver Coins. These coins were issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to help finance the 1976 Montreal Olympics. 

They are sterling silver coins with a 92.5% silver composition.

The $5 coins were part of a larger series that also included $10 denominations, both released in seven series covering various Olympic themes. 

These coins were heavily promoted and sold from 1973-1976. 

They represent the Royal Canadian Mint's first issue of coins with a $5 face value. 

Coin may vary from image; but will have been issued from the Royal Canadian Mint between the years of 1974 and 1976.
