This is a 1983 Canadian commemorative silver medallion featuring the portraits of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. The coin was issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate their royal visit to Canada in June 1983. 

The text on the medal is in both English and French: "THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES" and "LE PRINCE ET LA PRINCESSE DE GALLES".
