This is a 1967 Canadian silver dollar (KM# 70), a commemorative piece issued for the centennial of the Canadian Confederation (1867-1967). This specific design, featuring a Canada goose in flight, is one of Canada's most well-known wildlife coin designs.

The reverse features a flying Canada Goose, designed by artist Alex Colville.

It was minted to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Canada's confederation in 1867.

The coin is composed of 80% silver.
