It is a 1/2 oz. pure silver coin with a $10 denomination, double-dated 1867-2017 to commemorate Canada's 150th anniversary. 

The coin is part of a 13-coin series celebrating Canada's provinces and territories, inspired by Canadian Geographic photographs. 

The mintage of each coin in the series, including the Iceberg at Dawn coin, is limited to 25,000. 

As a pure silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, it is HST/GST exempt. 

This coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt. The inscription "ELIZABETH II D G REGINA" encircles the portrait, which translates to "Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen".
