This is a 2016 Canadian Maple Leaves 1/2 oz. Fine Silver Coin, minted by the Royal Canadian Mint.

The reverse design by Canadian artist Donna Kriekle depicts the cycle of life of a sugar maple tree (Acer saccharum). The various elements represent different stages of growth: 

The winged maple key, or samara, at the bottom left represents children and new life.

The progression of the branch shows young leaves developing from gentle flowers.

The mature, deeply veined leaf gives way to the broad, elder leaf. 

The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
