This is a 2003 Canadian 50-cent Golden Daffodil coin. 

It is part of the Royal Canadian Mint's 2002-2007 Golden Flowers 6-Coin Series. 

It is a 50-cent coin made of 92.5% sterling silver with selective gold plating.

The reverse design, featuring the daisies, was created by Christie Paquet. 

It is composed of 92.5% silver and features selective 22 karat gold plating on the daffodil design. 

This coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt. The inscription "ELIZABETH II D G REGINA" encircles the portrait, which translates to "Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen".
