This is a 1993 Canada $100 "The Horseless Carriage" 14-Karat Gold Commemorative Coin, produced by the Royal Canadian Mint.

The reverse design, by artist John Mardon, features five early antique automobiles "horseless carriages":

Featherstonhaugh (Center): The first electric car built in Canada.
Panhard-Levassor's Daimler (Clockwise from top left): A pioneering French vehicle.
Duryea: An early American gasoline-powered automobile.
Benz Victoria: A classic German design.Simmonds Steam Carriage: An early steam-powered vehicle.

It is struck in 14-karat gold (58.33% gold, 41.67% silver).

The opposite side displays the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Canadian artist Dora de Pédery-Hunt.
