This is a 2017 $30 "Celebrating Canada Day Glow-in-the-dark" 2 oz. pure silver coin from the Royal Canadian Mint. This limited-edition piece was released to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation.
The artwork depicts a Canada Day celebration on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, featuring the Snowbirds aerobatic team flying over the Peace Tower.
It utilizes innovative glow-in-the-dark (photoluminescent) technology. While the daytime scene is visible in normal light, viewing the coin under the included black light reveals a hidden nighttime scene of a fireworks display.
