This coin is a 2001 Royal Military College of Canada 125th Anniversary 5-cent sterling silver proof coin. Issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, it was the first time a single five-cent sterling silver commemorative coin was released. The coin is struck in sterling silver (.925 silver) with a proof finish.
The artwork on the reverse features a Colour Party of Royal Military College cadets parading proudly in front of Kingston's iconic Memorial Arch.
