Canadian dimes minted between 1953 and 1964 represent the first portrait series of Queen Elizabeth II. These coins are highly sought by collectors and silver investors due to their high precious metal content and distinctive design varieties. 

Features the "Laureate" portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, depicting her at 27 years old wearing a laurel wreath. The Latin inscription "ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA" translates to "Elizabeth II, Queen by the Grace of God".

Composition: 80% silver and 20% copper.

Showcases the iconic Bluenose, a legendary Canadian racing schooner from Nova Scotia, designed by Emanuel Hahn.

1956 "Dot" Variety: A scarce variety featuring a small dot below the date.
