This is a 2023 Sierra Leone Egyptian Gods Osiris 1 oz Silver Coin. 

Design: The coin features the Egyptian god Osiris, depicted as a mummified man wearing a white cone-like headdress with feathers, holding a crook and flail. His name in hieroglyphics appears in a square, and the background features typical Egyptian decorations and hieroglyphics. 

Obverse: The obverse side of the coin displays the Coat of Arms of Sierra Leone. 

Osiris:
Osiris is a significant figure in ancient Egyptian mythology, known as the god of the underworld, judge of the dead, and associated with fertility, agriculture, and resurrection. 

Significance of Osiris: Osiris is the Egyptian Lord of the Underworld and Judge of the Dead, brother-husband to Isis. He is also a god of resurrection and fertility, believed by ancient Egyptians to have given them the gift of barley. 

Series: This coin is part of a new series commemorating 250 years since the birth of British Egyptologist Dr. Thomas Young, and it is the second coin in the series, following the coin depicting the goddess Isis.
