The obverse side of the coin features the official coat of arms of Fiji, along with inscriptions indicating the year (2022), weight (1 oz), purity (.999 Fine Silver), and legal tender denomination (50 Cents).

The design features the Coat of Arms of Fiji, which includes a shield supported by two Fijian warriors.
