These are silver coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the 1976 Montreal Summer Olympics. These coins were produced in two denominations—$5 and $10—and were sold between 1973 and 1976 to help finance the Olympic Games.

Composition: Each coin is made of .925 sterling silver.

Weight & Content: Each coin contains 1.4453 oz of actual silver weight (ASW). 

Obverse Design: Features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II at age 37.
