This is a 2006 Canada $350 Iris Versicolor gold coin. Part of the "Provincial Floral Series," it depicts the Blue Flag Iris (Iris versicolor), which is the provincial flower of Quebec.
Composition: .99999 pure gold, which is among the highest standards for fine gold worldwide.
Designers: The reverse, featuring the iris flowers, was designed by Canadian artist Susan Taylor (whose initials "ST" appear on the coin).
Obverse: The other side of the coin features a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II.
Due to its high gold purity and limited mintage, this coin is primarily a collector's item. It was originally issued in a protective box with a numbered certificate of authenticity. While its face value is $350 CAD, its market value is significantly higher.
