This image shows a 2014 Royal Canadian Mint $20 fine silver coin from the "Lost Ships in Canadian Waters" series, commemorating the RMS Empress of Ireland. 

The coin features a colored depiction of the RMS Empress of Ireland, a passenger liner that sank in 1914 after colliding with a Norwegian collier in the St. Lawrence River, resulting in Canada's worst maritime disaster. 

It is the first coin in a three-coin series, with subsequent issues depicting Franklin's Lost Expedition and the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald. 

The image displays the obverse side of a Canadian Silver Dollar, featuring a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The inscription "ELIZABETH II" and "D. G. REGINA" (Dei Gratia Regina, meaning "By the Grace of God, Queen") are visible around the effigy. This design is typical of Canadian coinage featuring the reigning monarch.
