This coin is the 2016 $20 Baby Animals: Porcupine fine silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint. It is the seventh release in the popular "Baby Animals" series, which celebrates Canada's rich biodiversity.
The reverse depicts a young porcupine, known as a porcupette, foraging alongside its mother in a Canadian forest. Selective coloring is used to highlight the porcupette's dense black coat and the pink clover it is eating. The mother is shown in the engraved background, looking toward the viewer.
