This is the reverse side of a Canadian 10-cent coin, specifically a 1967 Centennial edition. The design, featuring an Atlantic mackerel, was part of a special set issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Canadian Confederation.
The image of the mackerel was designed by Alex Colville for the centennial year coinage.
All Canadian coins released in 1967 featured unique animal-themed reverses to mark the centennial.
Some were minted in 80% silver and 20% copper.
Others were minted in 50% silver and 50% copper.
The obverse shows the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
